Company history

Polish Meat SA commenced trading in 2011 as a result of the upturn in world growth in the area of meat production and, therefore, increased demand for meat.

The main shareholders of Polska Meat were the Spanish company, ‘Ibergest’ – international exporter of food products, Slawomir Samonek and Christopher Samonek.

From the beginning the Company entered a path of rapid growth and after less than a year of operation, shareholders decided to increase the share caital to 400,000 zl.  The next share capital increase took place in August 2012 when a shareholder joined one of the largest distributors in the market of Central Africa – The Idea of Finance.  In the same year the Company opened its first office in that sector.

At present, the Company is focused on wholesale meat supplies from domestic slaughter and the exportation of processing plant.

The year 2013 saw the signing of many important trade agreements and the leasing of a modern cold storage facility located in Gdynia from the company ‘Poland Services Cold Store’.  This allowed for the optimization of the process of freezing and the expansion of the logistics supply advanced model.  In the same year the Company generated revenue of more than 143 million zl and almost 2 million zl in profit.

The following year showed a leap in revenue of 42%, which equated to more than 200 million zl compared to the previous year.

The Company has also invested heavily in the development of the production department.

In July 2014 we launched our own production line as a result of increased margins and increased Company revenues.
